On July 12th, Marysville FFA brought in animals just outside of the Marysville Pool. Members that participated included Emily Rostofer, Autumn Henault, Taci Welch, Logan Williams, Ryan Cook and Alli Lee. These members stood close by while people from the community came to pet animals and learn interesting facts about them for an educational and fun experience. Being close to the pool, gave members a great chance to engage children to attend their petting zoo on a hot day.
Rabbits, a donkey and goat were present for children to pet. There was also a horse carriage provided by the Welch family for the community to take a ride in. Marysville FFA has been doing this activity for quite some time and plan to continue. This event is always successful in engaging children to come over and see some animals while maybe learning a few things about agriculture and FFA. Along with that, members take this opportunity to show off how much fun they have in the FFA with all the animals they are eligible of being around on a daily basis.
