Marysville FFA is very proud of the successful exhibitors that showed at the 2015 Union County Fair. Jordan Welch, being one of those exhibitors the chapter was especially proud of. Welch won Reserve Champion for his Market Wether. Many other exhibitors were awarded for their awarding showmanship skills as well as, champions in the Union County Born and Bred classes. Marysville FFA had exhibitors showing for the animal species of goats, sheep, hogs, steers, dairy feeders, poultry and horses. For the general livestock judging contest, members provided hogs, sheep, steers and goats to judge. Participants were able to touch animals and see animals walk in a ring to get sufficient judging results. The participants would judge the animal and list their placings with the help of provided questions they had to answer. There was also judges present to give oral reasonings over their official placing. The score sheet was based on the correct number of answers to the corresponding questions, correct placings and the cuts corresponding to the placings of that particular class. Walker Heard won the competition holding the highest score.
