Marysville FFA student advisor, Logan Williams planned a petting zoo held at Marysville High School on July 21st with an invitation to all local daycare centers such as, Enchanted Care. Several FFA members came out to help tend to animals and tell daycare’s all about their animals and why they’re important.
Members who attended were; Logan Williams, Leighann Shanklin, Alli Lee, Shae Leeper, Maddie Frendberg, Ryan Cook and Shelby Knisley. These members had a total of four animals to explain, care for and specific details about. These animals included; rabbits, guniea pigs, a sheep and a pony. Children in the daycares had an oppurtunity to learn interesting facts about farm animals as well as, animals they may have as pets. Marysville FFA took a chance to get young children engaged into FFA and what agriculture has to offer.
