On November 17th, Marysville FFA hosted the Sub-District Parliamentary Procedure competition with 28 teams competing. Marysville FFA Novice and Advanced Parliamentary Procedure teams competed at the Sub-District level at Marysville High School on Tuesday, November 11th. Both teams placed second in their Sub-District competition. The Advanced team from Marysville FFA tied with Fairbanks FFA for second place. Members on the Novice team competing were; Payne Miller as President, Grant Kessler as Vice President, Caitlyn Kressley as Reporter, Cori Lee as Secretary, Zane Shreeve as Treasurer, Morgan Bickley as Sentinel, Blake Kessler as Student Advisor and Kirsten Lowry as Member at large. Members on the Advanced team competing were; Logan Williams as President, Leighann Shanklin as Secretary and Members Shae Leeper, Alli Lee, Colton Lindsey and Tyler Isley.

Competing Members are asked to take a test over the general knowledge of Parlimentary Procedure and then run a proper meeting in front of judges. In this meeting, they have to meet certain requirements in the meeting. Marysville FFA will move onto districts on Thursday, December 3rd, and will have to place second to move onto the State Contest.
