On January 25th, Marysville FFA members traveled to Bunsold Middle School to conduct fun stations based on the agricultural classes are offered to freshmen. The purpose of these activities was to showcase the types of classes and subjects available to study in the high school agriculture science department. The activities were thought of and planned out by members of the Marysville FFA as part of the chapter’s leadership committee. Classes available for freshmen to consider taking in high school are as follows; Animal & Plant Science, Agricultural & Industrial Power / Welding, Outdoor Power Technology, Livestock Selection, Nutrition & Management, and Food & Natural Resources. Activities lasted about 10 minutes and gave the 8th graders opportunities to ask questions about agriculture, FFA, and of course high school life. The Ag Department was very thankful for the eighth grader’s cooperation and truly hope they are considering taking an agricultural class next year. FFA members that were part of the committee included; Kelsey Bosold, Ryan Cook, Whitney Ey, Derek Guy, Autumn Henault, David Hendel, Tyler Icely, Caity Kressley, Alli Lee, Shae Leeper, Jesse McClary, Amy McElfresh, Ciara Plummer, Emily Rostofer, Leighann Shanklin, Taci Welch, Blaine Williams, Logan Williams, Katie VanHoose, Savanna Fellows, Katie Hiser, Cori Lee, Dylan Nicol, Kaitlyn Vance and Clayton Kressley.
