On Wednesday, December 9th, Marysville FFA sponsored one of the American Red Cross Blood Drives at the Marysville High School. In the field house of Marysville High School, numerous students from Marysville High School gave blood and saved lives. American Red Cross was open for donations from 7:30am to 2:40pm on December 9th. This activity was ran by Leighann Shanklin and FFA Advisor, Ashley Thompson.
Marysville FFA held sign-ups during all three lunch periods beginning on Tuesday, December 2nd. During these sign-ups, students could sign up for their appointment at their chosen time of day. All appointment times were filled, as well as, Marysville FFA members who helped register each of the donors who signed up. American Red Cross provided all snacks, beds and all their supplies needed for the Blood Drive. Marysville FFA sincerely appreciates American Red Cross for letting them sponsor their Blood Drive.
