On Wednesday night, two adults by the names of Jacob Stadler, 18, and Justin Brake, 20, were taken into custody after a spree of vandalism on the West side of Marysville, in which more than 90 car and homeowners complained of shattered windows and windshields. They were charged with one count of criminal damaging and don't believe to be pressed with any more charges. Police arrested the two men after getting a description of their vehicle from a neighbor whose property had been vandalized.
Jamie Hites, a senior at MHS had her car windows smashed in Milford Estates on Milford Avenue. She drives a honda accord and she states “I walked out a to my car at 6:45 and there were cops all down the streets. I walked out to my car and put my bag in my car and there was glass scattered. I asked the [police officer] about it and he said there were multiple cars on the street where it also happened to them. We took the car in to see how much the repair would be. With insurance it would $250.”
It was said they stated “"Got tired or bored of playing video games, started shooting the BB gun around the house," said Deputy Chief Tony Brooks. "Decided to get in the car and come to Marysville." The rest of their jail time awaits them.
